14 weeks pregnant
At 14 weeks you are in the second trimester, and your baby measures about 8.7 cm from crown to rump and weighs about 43 g, roughly the length of a lemon. The second trimester starts now, the booking-in visit should be complete, and the next antenatal visit falls at 16 weeks.

Your baby at 14 weeks
The baby can squint, frown and may suck a thumb. The body is catching up with the head, the face looks human and movements are becoming coordinated.
How you might feel
Energy and appetite usually return, nausea has gone for most people and the uterus is rising above the pelvis, so trousers start to feel tight.
