10 weeks pregnant
At 10 weeks you are in the first trimester, and your baby measures about 3.1 cm from crown to rump and weighs about 4 g, roughly the length of a strawberry. Non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) is available from this week at a private cost, and the hospital booking-in visit usually happens between now and 16 weeks.
Averages from standard growth tables; your scan gives your baby's own numbers.
Your baby at 10 weeks
Officially a fetus now; nails and hair follicles are developing. Now called a fetus: the tail has gone, fingers and toes are forming and the head is about half the total length.
How you might feel
Nausea is often at its worst around now and then begins to ease; visible veins, headaches and constipation are common.
NIPT is possible from this week. Booking bloods should be done.
