Hello Bub keeps as little about you as it can. This page says what is kept, where, and how to remove it. Last updated 3 November 2026.

Using the site without an account

Everything you enter, such as your due date, the options you pick and the items you tick, stays in your browser's storage on that device. It is not sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes it.

If you create an account

To save a plan we keep your email address and password (the password is stored hashed by our authentication provider and we cannot read it), your due date, your baby's date of birth once you enter it, your state, whether this is your first baby, whether you have told us you are Rh negative, the items you have ticked and any notes you add. Due dates, birth dates and the Rh negative flag are health information. You choose to give them to us by entering them, and we use them for one thing: building your plan.

What we use it for

To show your dates, keep your ticks in sync across your devices, and send the emails needed to run your account, such as confirming your address or resetting a password. We do not sell or rent your information and we do not share it with advertisers. If we ever offer something else we think is useful to you, we will ask before emailing you about it.

Where it is stored

Account data is stored in a managed database run by our hosting provider, protected so that only you can read your own record. The servers may be outside Australia. Access is limited to the people who run Hello Bub, and only to fix problems.

Cookies and analytics

When you sign in, a token kept in your browser keeps you signed in and does nothing else. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages and calculators are used, so we know what to improve. It sets cookies to tell visits apart and sends Google the pages you view and the buttons you use; it does not receive your due date, your baby's date of birth, your email address or anything you type. Google's privacy policy covers how it handles that data. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not share your information with advertisers.

Your choices

• Delete your saved plan from your account page at any time; it is removed immediately.
• To delete the account itself, email hello@hellobub.com.au from the address you signed up with and we remove it within a few days.
• To see or correct what we hold, email the same address.

Children

Hello Bub is for adults planning a pregnancy or caring for a newborn. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes and contact
