Weeks, days and trimesters, the way the clinic says it
Australian hospitals write gestation as weeks and completed days: 26+3 means 26 full weeks and three days. The first trimester runs to 13+6, the second from 14+0 to 27+6, the third from 28+0. Why the week matters in Australia
Several things are tied to the exact week: combined screening only between 11+0 and 13+6, the morphology scan at 18 to 20 weeks, the glucose test at 24 to 28, the whooping cough vaccine ideally 20 to 32, the RSV vaccine from 28, the Parental Leave Pay claim from 13 weeks before the due date, and written notice to your employer 10 weeks before leave starts. Knowing your week to the day keeps all of them inside their windows.

Why am I four weeks pregnant when I only just conceived?
Pregnancy is dated from the last period, about two weeks before ovulation, so the count starts before conception.
